Job summary

insightsoftware seeks a Director of DevOps/CloudOps to lead a global team responsible for reliable, fault-tolerant infrastructure and application availability. You will drive DevOps practices, cloud strategy, and continuous delivery in a fast-paced environment, aligning with business goals and customer needs.

The role requires senior leadership, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication to deliver stretch goals and ensure top-tier operational performance.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline; Master’s Degree preferred.
• 10+ years of DevOps/CloudOps experience with at least five years in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure).
• Strong background with DevOps/CloudOps tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps.
• 7+ years leading multiple Agile teams and programs with agile/Lean principles.
• 5+ years driving full DevOps automation and automated software delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps/CloudOps team across staffing, mentoring, and tooling.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, PMs, and support teams globally.
• Implement DevOps/CloudOps principles and best practices.
• Create roadmaps and deliver commitments in Agile/Scrum.
• Report status to executives and resolve issues impacting customers.
• Develop metrics and dashboards for cloud infrastructure and software components.
• Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity tests are performed.
