Job summary

Hitachi Digital is seeking a Director of Clinical Business Strategy to design and accelerate transformation in the clinical market, serving hospitals and driving growth within SSIB. You’ll shape strategy, build partnerships, and lead cross‑functional initiatives to translate Hitachi’s IT x OT x Products into sustainable solutions.

Requires a deep background in biotech/life sciences, MBA preferred, 10+ years of experience, and a track record in business development and deal execution.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in biomedical, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related field.
• MBA degree preferred (not mandatory).
• 10+ years in clinical, biotechnology, life sciences industries.
• 5+ years in business development with customer/partner engagement and project management.
• Business development skills including term sheet creation, IP review, P&L modeling, quality agreements, and supply agreements.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage strategies to accelerate clinical business portfolio growth.
• Collaborate with Hitachi units to validate and execute business strategy hypotheses.
• Develop partnerships with customers, partners, and executives to drive alignment and growth.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards.
