Job summary

Iterative Health in the United States seeks a Director, Life Sciences to accelerate growth in its clinical trials business. You will identify, develop, and expand partnerships with biopharma sponsors, negotiating contracts and shaping commercial strategy.

You will own the full business development lifecycle, collaborate with clinical operations, product, and leadership, and represent the company at industry events. A strong network and 8+ years in business development are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, clinical research, life sciences, or related commercial roles.
• Demonstrated success developing and closing partnerships with biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations.
• Strong understanding of the clinical trial ecosystem, including sponsors, CROs, site networks, and research operations.
• Established network of industry contacts and decision-makers within the biopharma sector.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and manage enterprise-level relationships.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary commercial representative to biopharma and clinical research partners.
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive sponsor engagement.
• Build and expand relationships with key decision-makers across clinical development and operations.
• Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal execution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to tailor clinical trial solutions.
• Partner with operations to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.
• Gather market intelligence to inform strategy and product development.
• Represent Iterative Health at conferences and business development events.
