Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Senior Director, Client Success to lead strategy and performance across a large account portfolio. You will own client relationships up to the C-suite, align roadmaps with corporate priorities, and drive long-term retention and growth while building scalable talent and governance across teams.

You will guide cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, Operations, and Technology to translate market insights into proactive strategies and measurable client value,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in client success, account management, or strategic consulting within healthcare, health insurance, or healthcare data/technology.
• 5+ years of people leadership managing managers or multi-level teams.
• Deep subject-matter expertise in Risk Adjustment and Retrieval processes, SLA frameworks, and the Payer/Provider/Vendor ecosystem.
• Experience managing executive-level relationships up to the C-suite in large enterprise accounts.
• Proven track record owning revenue, retention, and growth targets for a multi-million-dollar portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead client experience strategy and team performance across a full account portfolio.
• Own strategic direction, financial performance, and long-term retention of client relationships.
• Translate market, regulatory, and competitive insight into proactive strategy.
• Build scalable talent strategies, succession plans, and performance standards.
• Oversee delivery strategy across implementations, renewals, growth, and escalations.
• Coach leaders to deliver executive presentations and effective change management.
• Partner with Sales, Product, and Operations to influence roadmap decisions.
• Champion a data-driven culture and use analytics to inform strategy.
