Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Senior Director, Capture to lead strategic capture efforts within the Defense Market. This remote leadership role reports to the VP of Business Development and provides upward exposure with senior leadership.

Responsibilities include shaping solutions, pricing discussions, and building teaming plans while driving win rates and maintaining strong competitive positioning. Travel is up to 25% within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; 12+ years of experience; 15+ preferred.
• Experience across Air Force and Space Force Military Departments; CYBERCOM; technical operational, sales, proposals.
• Experience with project management, systems analysis, and go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities

• Own capture, pursuit, and solutioning for multiple lines of business.
• Provide strategic guidance to executives on solution shaping and response strategies.
• Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Brief senior leadership for decision making on capture activities.
• Drive planning and capture initiatives 6+ months before RFP release.
• Support short-term captures aligned with market goals and larger procurements.
• Provide insights and competitive analysis to optimize Maximus positioning.
• Coordinate teaming and ensure compliant, top-quality proposals.
