TECO Energy, via Tampa Electric, seeks a Senior Director of Data & AI Strategy to lead the AI, data governance, and enterprise strategy. You will drive an end‑to‑end delivery workflow, prioritize use cases, and partner with governance boards to ensure compliant, value‑driven AI adoption across the organization.

The role requires 10+ years in data/AI leadership, strong governance, and experience shaping enterprise roadmaps in regulated environments.

Formación

• 10 years of progressive experience in data, analytics, AI/ML, technology strategy, and/or enterprise transformation.
• Experience in a utility or critical infrastructure environment preferred.
• Familiarity with AI governance, risk management, and regulated costs.

Responsabilidades

• Builds and leads AI, data, and governance pillars with end-to-end delivery for business use cases.
• Develops multi-year AI/data strategy aligned with business objectives and security standards.
• Directs data platform engineering, integrations, and data quality across enterprise sources.
• Establishes AI governance including risk tiers, use-case registry, and model risk management.
• Defines and reports AI/data value, including cost, adoption, and performance metrics.
• Leads change management and builds AI/data literacy across units.
