Job summary

Global Partners seeks a Senior Director of Data Engineering to shape the enterprise data platform strategy and drive AI-enabled data infrastructure across the organization. You will lead a federated team spanning central Data, Analytics & Insights and embedded BU analytics, building scalable solutions and governance.

You will champion agentic development, establish guardrails for AI in production, and partner with Data Science/ML, IT, and business leaders to deliver measurable business value

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Platform leadership.
• Experience leading federated data organizations with centrally owned platforms and embedded analytics teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across technical and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Define, execute, and evolve the enterprise data platform strategy aligned with long-term business objectives.
• Lead agentic AI-enabled engineering initiatives and standardize development conventions across teams.
• Own data governance, SLAs, data contracts, and SSOT across the enterprise.
• Oversee budgeting, FinOps, and cost optimization for the data platform and AI workloads.
• Mentor engineers and managers; build a scalable pipeline of technical leaders.
