Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Senior Director of Security Engineering to build and lead a high-impact team securing Ripple's products, infrastructure, and IT systems. You will shape security strategy and embed security across the stack while guiding AI tooling and agentic workflows.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership to align security priorities with customer needs, drive risk reduction, and cultivate a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in security engineering with leadership experience.
• Hands-on expertise in AI security, LLM risks, and agentic workflows.
• Strong security architecture knowledge across cloud environments.
• Experience communicating risks to executives and teams.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic vision and roadmap for the Security Engineering team.
• Provide guidance on security risks to leadership and teams.
• Define guardrails around AI agents and tools.
• Implement agentic SDLC guardrails and oversight of AI-assisted development workflows.
• Lead and mentor security engineers.
• Drive security guidelines across engineering.
• Lead security architecture reviews for new products and major initiatives.
• Own the vulnerability management program and remediation partnerships.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and IT leadership on security priorities.
