Ripple is seeking a Senior Director of Security Engineering to build and lead a high-performing team focused on securing products, infrastructure, and corporate IT systems. You will integrate security across the stack, embed AI tool safety, and drive a culture of security with senior leadership.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise in AI security, cloud security, and threat modeling, with the goal of protecting customers and advancing Ripple's technology agenda.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in security engineering with leadership experience.
• Hands-on AI security expertise, including guardrails for agents.
• Expert-level security architecture across cloud environments and modern stacks.
• Knowledge of cryptography, secure coding, and OWASP Top 10.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic vision and roadmap for the Security Engineering team with a focus on AI security.
• Guide security risk conversations with senior leadership and engineering partners.
• Define guardrails around AI agents, tools, and SDLC processes.
• Lead security architecture reviews for new products and major initiatives.
• Own the vulnerability management program and remediation prioritization.
