Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Senior Director of Security Engineering in New York to build and lead a proactive security team. You will define the security strategy, embed security into product development, and ensure AI tooling and agentic workflows are secure and auditable.

You will guide enterprise security, manage vulnerabilities, and collaborate with engineering, product, and IT leadership to protect customers and Ripple's infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in security engineering with leadership exposure.
• Hands-on expertise in AI security and guardrails for AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic vision and roadmaps for Security Engineering with emphasis on AI security.
• Serve as security domain expert to leadership and engineering teams.
• Define guardrails around AI agents and tools within Ripple's environment.
• Implement and enforce agentic SDLC guardrails and oversight for AI workflows.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing security team.
• Drive security guidelines across the engineering organization.
• Lead security architecture reviews for new products and changes.
• Own vulnerability management including pentest coordination and remediation.
• Collaborate with engineering and IT leadership to align security priorities.
