Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a highly experienced Data Integration Engineer to own the design, build, and operation of data pipelines that connect Medical Affairs AI solutions to enterprise data sources. This hands-on role emphasizes governance, latency, and scalability within a hybrid work model at Pfizer sites.

You will partner with architecture and product teams to implement RAG, vector databases, and GraphRAG patterns, ensuring well-governed, readily accessible data for AI capabilities while complying

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Analytics or related field.
• 8+ years hands-on data engineering or application integration experience.
• Advanced SQL and ETL/ELT pipeline development.
• Experience with Snowflake or equivalent data platform.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs and event-driven patterns.
• Experience with AI data access patterns (RAG, vector DBs).
• Knowledge of data governance and privacy (PII, masking).
• Familiarity with pharma/commercial data environments (GDPR, HIPAA, GxP).

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines connecting core systems to AI platforms.
• Ensure data pipelines meet latency requirements and are reusable across solutions.
• Implement data integration patterns for RAG and vector databases.
• Collaborate with Solution Architecture and Product Management for governance and quality.
• Maintain data dictionaries, lineage, and playbooks as part of data governance.
