Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering for Engineering Services & Platforms within the CTO. You will lead multiple technical areas, guide hiring and performance, and drive a cross-functional platform for dependency health across thousands of applications.

You will shape a 60,000-strong developer ecosystem, push for AI-enabled SDLC improvements, and build scalable, secure infrastructure in a large enterprise with an AWS and Java stack.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex items.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the engineering team.
• Own the engineering organization for Dependency Explorer end-to-end — hiring, structure, culture, and performance; scale to multi-manager org.
• Lead delivery of the core platform build-out: data ingestion, dependency graph modeling, developer surfaces, firm-wide integration.
• Set AI-first engineering strategy and operating standards to improve delivery speed, reliability and code quality.
• Engage across security, risk, and platform partners; translate technical work into business impact.
