Gartner is seeking a Senior Director in North America for its BTI group. This remote-contributor role focuses on AI-native applications, agentic AI architectures, and delivering high-impact, must-have insights to world-leading organizations.

You will lead with executive presence, mentor teams, and collaborate across global stakeholders while traveling up to 25% as needed. Fluency in English is required for daily client and colleague interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• Experience leading teams in design, development, and deployment of AI-native applications, incl. LLMs and AI agents.
• Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks, orchestration platforms, model providers, and autonomous AI systems.
• Experience with AI application architectures, model integration, context management, observability, and production management.
• Familiarity with leading AI vendors and platforms; ability to evaluate benefits, risks, and use cases.
• Executive presence; credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
• Excellent research and writing abilities; strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize data, apply critical thinking, and defend conclusionswith clients.

Responsabilités

• Create innovative, high-impact insights content.
• Develop new insights through thought leadership and practical approaches.
• Analyze client needs and reframing to drive strategy forward.
• Establish Insights positions within a team of analysts.
• Provide independent, actionable insights to guide Gartner's research agenda.
• Forecast market trends and provide actionable insights to clients and vendors.
• Offer practical advice aligned to client domains via virtual or in-person interactions.
• Prepare high-value presentation materials for Gartner events and client briefings.
• Support BTI and Sales with market voice to drive client engagement.
• Peer-review content to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Build credibility as Gartner insights and methodology representatives.
• Participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions with peers.
• Identify research process improvements for better service delivery.
• Mentor junior team members and focus on client engagement.
