Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Senior Director within the Business and Technology Insights (BTI) group to lead as a credible voice on AI and related domains. The role involves producing pragmatic insights, engaging clients in person or virtually, and shaping research agendas with senior teams.

The successful candidate will have 12+ years of experience, 2+ years in AI strategy, and strong communication, presentation and mentoring skills, with travel up to 25% and a global, multicultural work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience, with at least 2 years of AI strategy experience.
• Technical expertise in AI architecture, data, applications or infrastructure.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Proven written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high quality work.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and collaborate across a global team.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, thought-provoking, and highly leveraged must-have insights content.
• Develop new insights through thought leadership and actionable client approaches.
• Provide clients with actionable advice via virtual or face-to-face interactions.
• Deliver high value presentation materials for Gartner events and conferences.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to peer reviews.
• Represent Gartner insights and methodology to clients and leadership.
• Collaborate across teams to improve research processes and delivery.
• Identify process improvements to enhance service delivery.
