Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Director, Agile Delivery to lead the transformation of agile at scale within a healthcare technology environment. This remote role in the United States partners with pod leads and senior stakeholders to align delivery with strategic priorities.

You will design an agile operating model, track velocity, remove blockers, and build real-time dashboards for leadership while mentoring teams on Scrum and Kanban across hybrid reporting contexts.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, Agile Delivery to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will shape and scale an agile delivery model that supports technology teams across a complex healthcare environment. The Senior Director will align delivery practices to organizational priorities, strengthen visibility into progress and blockers, and help ensure teams can execute effectively in hybrid operational and reporting contexts. This leader will also partner closely with pod leads and senior stakeholders to improve coordination, consistency, and execution across multiple workstreams.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $140,000 – $182,700 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an agile operating model across technology departments
• Scale agile methodologies to align with organizational goals
• Adapt agile methods for hybrid contexts, including external reporting requirements
• Track delivery velocity, manage blockers, and resolve impediments with pod leads
• Own cross-pod dependency management and maintain the delivery roadmap
• Build real-time delivery dashboards for leadership visibility
• Coach and mentor teams on agile principles and lead training programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• 8+ years of progressive experience in agile delivery or program management, including 5+ years in a leadership role
• Deep hands-on fluency with Scrum and Kanban; proven ability to adapt these methods in complex environments
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent certification preferred
• Experience in nonprofit, public sector, health tech, or crisis services strongly preferred
