Job summary

HP is pursuing a Senior Director to lead Agentic AI Development, shaping and delivering scalable AI experiences across HP PCs and edge devices. You will drive engineering execution, tool integration, and release management with a focus on performance, privacy, and reliability across multiple platforms.

The role requires deep technical leadership, global delivery excellence, and a track record of shipping AI-enabled products, plus collaboration with OS, hardware, and software teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software, systems, or AI engineering.
• 7+ years of leadership and experience managing managers across multiple teams.
• Delivery of shipped AI-enabled PCs, devices, or embedded products with strong integration.
• Experience with agentic/generative AI including tool calling and local/hybrid inference.
• Experience integrating native apps with OS and device interfaces across hardware boundaries.
• Experience with automated integration, hardware-based validation, staged releases, rollback, and field telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Translate PO priorities into executable engineering plans and lead squads from prototype to production.
• Oversee roadmap execution, release accountability, and cross-functional coordination.
• Hire and grow engineering managers and technical leaders across sites.
• Own staffing, development investment, and delivery risk escalation for executive leadership.
