HP is seeking a Senior AI System Architect to shape the end-to-end architecture for agentic AI software on HP PCs. You will connect AI runtimes, Windows system software, device resources, cloud services, and enterprise requirements into a coherent design that engineers can build and validate.

This role requires broad PC systems expertise and depth in AI inference and orchestration to guide architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in systems architecture or a related field.
• Experience designing AI inference, runtimes, or model services.
• Ability to communicate architectural trade-offs across performance, reliability, security, scalability, and user experience.

Responsabilités

• Define system architecture and technical requirements for AI capabilities spanning Windows PCs, on-device runtimes, cloud services, and applications.
• Design how multiple agents and models interact with platform services and how workloads are placed across CPU, GPU, NPU, and cloud resources.
• Establish architectural approaches to memory, compute, latency, and thermal constraints so AI workloads preserve the overall PC experience.
• Define interfaces and integration patterns for internal features, external models, partner software, and system management components.
• Incorporate security, privacy, networking, deployment, and enterprise IT manageability into platform design from the outset.
• Work with AI platform, system software, security, and product teams to resolve cross-component dependencies and guide implementation decisions.
• Set validation criteria for performance, reliability, scalability, and resource efficiency; review test findings and drive architectural improvements.
• Review designs across projects, communicate trade-offs to technical and business stakeholders, and mentor engineers on system-level decisions.
