Job summary

HP, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Agentic AI Development to lead the engineering organization responsible for turning AI concepts into scalable, production-ready solutions across devices.

You will oversee roadmaps, quality, releases, and risk mitigation while driving cross-functional coordination. You will shape architectures for agentic workflows, ensure PC and OS integration, and guide teams across hardware platforms, services, and AI execution layers to deliver end-to-end AI

Qualifications

• Typically 15+ years in software, systems, or AI engineering with 7+ years in leadership and managing managers.
• Delivered shipped AI-enabled PCs, devices, or embedded products with reliable release quality.
• Experience with agentic or generative AI applications and evaluation of AI behavior.

Responsibilities

• Translate PO priorities into executable engineering plans and lead squads from prototype to production.
• Own agentic engineering with context-aware workflows, planning, and local/hybrid inference.
• Ensure PC integration with APIs, OS services, hardware capabilities, and device management.
• Establish validation with scenario-based tests and measure latency, memory, power, and security.
• Own release readiness, rollout sequencing, and field issue resolution; coordinate cross-device compatibility.
• Hire and develop engineering leaders and drive overall delivery across sites.
