Job summary

HP is seeking a Senior AI System Architect to shape the end-to-end architecture for agentic AI software on HP PCs. You will connect AI runtimes, Windows system software, cloud services, and enterprise requirements into a coherent design for engineering teams.

This role requires broad PC systems expertise and depth in AI inference; you will lead technical direction, design reviews, and partner with engineers implementing the architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing complex software systems for products.
• Strong communication across software, hardware, security and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture for AI capabilities across on-device, cloud, and applications.
• Design interaction between multiple agents/models and platform services.
• Balance performance, reliability, security, and user experience in AI workloads.
• Set interfaces and integration patterns for internal features and external models.
• Incorporate security, privacy, networking, and manageability from the start.
• Lead architectural reviews and mentor engineers on system-level decisions.
• Collaborate with AI platform, system software, and product teams to resolve deps.
• Define validation criteria and drive improvements based on test results.
