Job summary

Cape & Islands Veterans Outreach Center seeks a Senior Director, Administration & Programs to oversee all administrative functions, including finances, reporting, HR, and data systems, while directing program delivery for housing, transportation, and outreach.

As a member of the senior leadership team, you will evolve toward a COO role, align with grant requirements, and supervise multiple departments to maximize community impact and veteran services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operational leadership experience in a nonprofit setting.
• Experience managing budgets for mid-to-large organizations (≈$2.5M+ annual budget).
• Knowledge of veteran populations and their needs.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of housing, transportation, and outreach program delivery.
• Oversee facilities management, transportation, and outreach daily operations.
• Direct management of veterans’ housing and tenant relations.
• Collaborate with leadership on housing-related projects and wraparound services.
• Coordinate with Case Management and Development on housing opportunities and goals.
• Ensure programs meet grant requirements and organizational objectives.
• Monitor program outcomes with data-driven metrics.
• Ensure compliance with veteran service regulations.
• Interface with housing authorities regionally.
• Lead finance functions and annual budgeting with Executive Director.
