Job summary

VOAMASS seeks a Program Director to manage the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program in Essex County, MA. You will supervise case management staff, set program policies, and ensure compliance with funder requirements and licensing rules.

You will lead collaboration with community partners, monitor outcomes, and report on prevention and rapid re-housing efforts to achieve housing stability for veterans and their families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in relevant field, or equivalent preferred.
• Significant case management experience with homeless veterans and families.
• Five years of management experience in homeless services, including supervision, budget/fiscal management, contract monitoring/audits, and reporting to funders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, guide, oversee and complete weekly supervision with a team of Case Managers.
• Develop program policy and procedure, with manuals for training, supervision, and monitoring of case management staff.
• Promote and teach the homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing model of service delivery for veterans to program staff.
• Complete day-to-day operations and ensure open communication with program staff.
• Ensure grant program operates in compliance with licensing and funding agency rules and meets contract expectations.
• Communicate with the funder and collaterals at all levels, including the SSVF program office and local health centers.
