Job summary

The Center for Human Development (CHD) in Springfield, MA seeks a Program Supervisor to lead direct care staff in a residential treatment program for adolescent males. You will supervise day and evening shifts, ensure policy compliance, conduct intake interviews, and coordinate with the Assistant Program Director to maintain safe, therapeutic operations.

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience working with youth required.
• Previous supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staff compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure daily activities are completed as appropriate.
• Provide regular supervision for individual staff.
• Assist in staff hiring procedures and decisions.
• Ensure adequate staffing on shifts.
• Conduct shift change meetings with outgoing and incoming shifts.
• Ensure building security and safety.
• Provide coaching and teaching around DBT skills.
• Supervise vocational classes and events.
• Report verbally and in writing during client meetings regarding DBT proficiency and vocational skills.
• Administer medication to youth.
