Job summary

The Center for Human Development (CHD) in Springfield, MA seeks an experienced Program Supervisor to lead staff in a residential group home for adults with developmental disabilities.

You'll support daily living activities, administer medications as needed, and advocate for individuals across community settings, focusing on independence and safety.

A Bachelor’s degree, MAP certification, CPR/First Aid, two years of supervisory experience, plus a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience with the population.
• MAP certification, CPR and First Aid current.
• Excellent oral and written communication; proficient with computers.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
• Reliable automobile and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all staff to ensure service delivery.
• Supports clients' activities of daily living.
• Administers medications as needed.
• Advocates for individuals in community settings.
• Provides opportunities to enhance independence.
• Develops professional, supportive relationships with clients.
• Assess needs and encourage growth while monitoring safety.
• Provide thorough orientation for new staff.
