Job summary

The Center for Human Development (CHD) seeks an experienced Program Supervisor to join our Springfield, MA team. The Residential Supervisor works within a team model to support and hold staff accountable in a community-based group home for adults with developmental disabilities.

The role includes supervising staff, supporting daily living activities, administering medications, advocating for clients, and fostering independence, with a competitive salary of $52,000 annually and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience with the population and supervisory experience.
• MAP certification, CPR and First Aid required.
• Excellent oral and written communication; proficient with computers.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
• Reliable automobile and valid driver’s license required.
• Flexibility to work one weekend day, including on call.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all staff to ensure proper service delivery.
• Support clients' activities of daily living.
• Administer medications as needed.
• Advocate for individuals in community settings.
• Provide opportunities to maximize independence.
• Develop professional, supportive relationships and offer person-centered guidance.
• Engage with clients to assess needs and monitor safety.
• Implement client ISP and document progress.
• Provide thorough orientation for new staff.
