Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Dining Services Director to oversee all food service operations for the community, including hiring, training, and supervising staff. You will ensure sanitation, menu planning, and regulatory compliance while maintaining quality service for residents, visitors, and staff.

You will manage ordering, inventory, budgeting for food and labor, and coordinate with maintenance for equipment upkeep. Strong leadership and customer service are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have Food Service Manager Certificate or meet regulatory requirements.
• ServSafe Certification is required.
• Strong customer service and effective communication with residents, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervises hiring, training, and evaluating dining services staff.
• Ensures cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen, dining and storage areas.
• Prepares monthly menus suitable to resident dietary needs and ensures adherence.
• Orders food, supplies and equipment; maintains inventory.
• Maintains menus for at least 3 months and ensures compliance with health regulations.
• Provides excellent customer service and protects resident confidentiality.
• Attends staff meetings and meets new residents within four days of move-in.
