Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is hiring for a dining services role at our senior living communities. You will serve meals to residents and guests, assist with menu orders, and ensure the dining area is clean and well-maintained.

The position supports a welcoming, respectful environment across our facilities. Responsibilities include beverage service, tray assistance, and adhering to confidentiality policies while working with residents and team members.

Qualifications

• Must be in clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene.
• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to learn quickly and apply learned principles.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet.
• Must be organized and willing to work well with other team members.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident and guest meals courteously and assist with menu orders.
• Provide beverage service (water, juice, coffee/tea).
• Assist with tray service and dining room setup/cleanup.
• Report broken equipment or tableware to supervisor.
• Understand sit-down service and proper serving techniques.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Interact with residents, guests, co-workers and supervisors politely and professionally.
