Job summary

Harmony Square is seeking a Dining Services Director to oversee all aspects of food service within the community. You will hire, train, supervise and evaluate staff, ensuring sanitation, diet compliance, and excellent resident service.

You will manage menus, inventories, vendor relations, and budgeting while maintaining quality and regulatory standards. Weekend/holiday flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Food Service Manager Certificate or meet regulatory requirements.
• Experience in dining services with management/leadership.
• Must be ServSafe certified.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lead staff and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises dining services staff to ensure quality, safety and customer service.
• Plans menus and ensures compliance with dietary needs and sanitation standards.
• Maintains inventory and orders from approved vendors.
• Controls portions and manages food, labor and supplies within budget.
• Ensures adherence to health laws and regulatory codes.
