Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Food Service Manager to oversee dining operations for residents, staff, and guests. You will manage menu planning, budgeting, staffing, and training to ensure high-quality, compliant food service in a senior living environment.

You will collaborate with maintenance and dining teams to meet dietary needs, maintain sanitation standards, and deliver excellent resident service. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Food Service Manager Certificate or meet regulatory requirements.
• Working knowledge of ordering, storing, preparation and serving in a food service environment.
• Strong customer service skills for residents, visitors, staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Directs and assists in preparation and serving of meals to residents, associates, and guests.
• Hires, trains, and supervises dining services staff to ensure proper preparation and storage of food.
• Prepares monthly menus and ensures sanitation and compliance with health standards.
• Keeps menus and records for minimum three months.
• Orders food and supplies through vendors and maintains inventory.
• Manages budgets for food, supplies, and labor hours.
• Plans and conducts staff training and in-service sessions.
• Provides excellent customer service and maintains confidentiality of resident information.
