Job summary

Wheeler Terrace, part of Cima Senior Living, is seeking a Dining Services Director to lead daily dining operations in our senior living community in Gainesville, TX. This Full-Time role offers competitive pay, strong benefits, and a meaningful, respectful work environment.

The position requires at least 1 year in a commercial kitchen, a Texas Food Safety Manager Certification, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Texas Food Safety Manager Certification is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen/dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations as a hands-on working supervisor.
• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus.
• Inventory management and budgeting.
• Perform dishwashing and kitchen clean-up duties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Provide oversight and direction to cooks who work independently on assigned shifts.
