Job summary

Inspirations of Mount Washington seeks a Dining Services Director to lead all aspects of dining operations, supervise dietary staff, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering quality meals within budget. This role requires strong food safety expertise, menu planning, inventory control, staff scheduling, and staff development in a compassionate, resident-centered senior living community.

You will partner with kitchen teams to meet dietary needs, support events, and uphold high standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some specialized training in food service.
• Continued education in food service preferred, including RD, CDM, or Culinary Degree.
• Serv-Safe Certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees dietary department in all aspects.
• Purchases foods and supplies; manages inventories and storage.
• Prints production sheets and prepares recipes for cooks.
• Prepares meals according to planned menus and special diets.
• Ensures safety, sanitation, and adherence to standards.
• Directs dietary personnel and schedules duties.
• Participates in event planning and resident activities.
• Maintains equipment and performs required meetings and training.
