Job summary

Meridian Senior Living seeks a Dining Services Director to lead meal production and dining operations for residents. You will ensure nutritious, high-quality meals in a safe, clean setting and support a positive resident experience.

Strong supervisory skills, compassion for the elderly, and a current sanitation license are essential. The role emphasizes team leadership, effective communication with residents, families, staff, and vendors, and adherence to health and safety standards to promote

Qualifications

2+ years relevant work experience preferred.
At least 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
Must possess all required licenses/certifications if required by state licensing authority.
Current food service sanitation license required.
Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and public.

Responsibilities

Actively prepare meals and manage operations of the Dining Services Department.
Serve excellent and nutritious food while ensuring first-rate dining service in a safe environment.
Maintain superior cleanliness and safety standards.
Manage and motivate Dining Services staff; maintain a positive environment for residents.
