Job summary

Consertus is seeking a high-energy Senior Project Manager with 6+ years of experience to lead and support multiple complex digital initiatives from our PMO. The role is fully remote and open to major U.S. office locations, requiring proactive scope, schedule, and risk management and the ability to mentor junior PMs.

You will build strong client partnerships, manage budgets, and drive high-quality delivery across time zones while supporting invoicing and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• PMP and/or Agile certification required.
• 8+ years of project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven experience managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk across multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong client-facing experience focusing on partnership and client satisfaction.
• Experience mentoring junior Project Managers in a matrixed environment.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, or MS Project.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing teams across multiple time zones and countries.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent projects in a consulting or client-facing environment, delivering on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Build and maintain strong client partnerships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact to ensure alignment and client satisfaction.
• Proactively manage scope, risks, issues, and change orders, ensuring transparency and alignment with contractual and commercial expectations.
• Conduct agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily scrum, and scrum review sessions.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and revenue forecasts; proactively identify and elevate revenue impacts in a timely manner.
• Facilitate internal and client-facing meetings, providing clear, confident, and data-driven status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Partner closely with technical and delivery teams to balance client commitments with delivery execution.
• Mentor and coach junior Project Managers, reinforcing delivery standards and consulting best practices.
• Support invoicing activities, including timesheet review and billing documentation.
• Manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Facilitate and manage teams in meetings.
