Job summary

Consertus is seeking a high-energy Senior Project Manager to lead multiple complex projects across the full lifecycle. This fully remote, U.S.-based role reports to the Digital PMO Manager and focuses on delivering client value, managing scope, budgets, and risks, and mentoring junior PMs.

You will guide cross-functional teams, conduct agile ceremonies, and build strong client partnerships, ensuring high satisfaction and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• PMP and/or Agile certification required
• 8+ years of project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Proven experience managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk across multiple concurrent projects
• Strong client-facing experience with a focus on partnership and client satisfaction
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior Project Managers and lead teams in a matrixed environment
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, or MS Project
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing teams across multiple time zones and countries

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent projects in a consulting or client-facing environment, delivering on time, within scope, and within budget
• Build and maintain strong client partnerships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact to ensure alignment and client satisfaction
• Proactively manage scope, risks, issues, and change orders, ensuring transparency and alignment with contractual and commercial expectations
• Conduct agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily scrum, and scrum review sessions
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and revenue forecasts; proactively identify and elevate revenue impacts in a timely manner
• Facilitate internal and client-facing meetings, providing clear, confident, and data-driven status updates to stakeholders and leadership
• Partner closely with technical and delivery teams to balance client commitments with delivery execution
• Mentor and coach junior Project Managers, reinforcing delivery standards and consulting best practices
• Support invoicing activities, including timesheet review and billing documentation
• Manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment
• Facilitate and manage teams in meetings

About this Role:

We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Senior Project Manager with 6+ years of experience, including experience in professional services and consulting environments, to lead and support multiple complex projects across all phases of the project lifecycle. This role reports to the Manager of the Digital Project Management Office (PMO) and is a key contributor to the successful delivery of digital initiatives for our clients.

The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and confident managing scope, schedules, budgets, and risks while building strong client partnerships and delivering high levels of client satisfaction.

This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients, acts as a liaison between delivery teams, leadership, and stakeholders, and mentors junior Project Managers to drive consistent, high-quality project delivery.

This role is fully remote and open to any one of our major office locations in the U.S. such as, Seattle, WA , Spokane, WA , Portland, OR , Los Angeles, CA , Chicago, IL , Atlanta, GA , Dallas, TX , or Miami, FL

Key Responsibilities:

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to work flexibly across all U.S. time zones to meet client engagement and meeting requirements
• Experience leading PMIS software implementations, such as Oracle Primavera Unifier or similar systems, is desired
• Experience using AI tools to improve deliverables and solutions
• Desired industry experience in aviation, healthcare, construction management, government, or utilities is a plus
• Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with client and project requirements

Working Hours

• Full-Time; Full Remote; based anywhere in the U.S.

Compensation Range

• Compensation range based on skills, education, experience and geographic location: $140,000–$180,000
