The Recruiting Hive in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Digital Hardware to join a cutting-edge DoD sensing technology manufacturer.

You will lead digital hardware design, FPGA development, PCB layout, and high-speed interfaces, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. A BS in EE or related field and 5+ years of experience, plus U.S. citizenship for security clearance, are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of digital hardware design experience.
• Experience with FPGAs, microcontrollers, memory, and high-speed interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and analyzers.
• VHDL or Verilog experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and development of advanced digital hardware for next-generation products.
• Design multi-layer PCBs, create schematics, and support board layouts.
• Architect and develop FPGA solutions using VHDL and/or Verilog on modern Xilinx platforms.
• Perform hardware integration, testing, validation, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Design high-speed interfaces and DSP/data acquisition architectures.
• Develop Python and Bash scripts to automate engineering workflows and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
