Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Digital Hardware in the Syracuse area. You will lead digital hardware design, develop FPGA solutions, and guide cross-functional teams across the product lifecycle.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in electrical/computer engineering and 5+ years of digital hardware experience, with proficiency in VHDL/Verilog and Xilinx platforms. DoD security clearance eligibility and lab-proven skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of digital hardware design experience.
• Experience with FPGAs, including memory and high-speed interfaces.
• Hands-on with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic/spectrum/network analyzers.
• Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of advanced digital hardware for next-generation products.
• Design multi-layer PCBs, schematics, and support board layout.
• Architect FPGA solutions using VHDL/Verilog on Xilinx platforms.
• Perform hardware integration, testing, validation, and production support.
• Design high-speed digital interfaces and data acquisition systems.
• Develop Python and Bash scripts to automate workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle.
