EY is seeking a Senior Manager in the Service Delivery Center to balance hands-on software engineering with project leadership. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support while remaining close to the code.

You will coordinate across geographically distributed teams and mentor engineers in best practices. You will partner with product owners, architects, DevOps and security to translate business requirements into achievable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of technology software development experience with leading project teams or major delivery workstreams.
• Hands-on coding with Java and Spring Boot, including microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Angular or React and guiding full-stack engineering decisions.
• Experience delivering enterprise apps on a major cloud platform.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, containers, testing, and code quality gates.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, sprint planning, backlog management and delivery tracking.
• Experience leading distributed teams across geographies and stakeholders.
• Mentorship and coaching to improve engineering practices.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end delivery of software engineering work across planning, design, development, testing, release, and production support.
• Remain hands-on with coding, reviews, troubleshooting, PoCs, and resolving complex engineering issues.
• Guide solution design using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native patterns.
• Plan and manage Agile delivery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation and coordination.
• Coordinate work across teams in different locations and time zones; ensure ownership and handoffs.
• Mentor engineers through coaching, design reviews, and career development conversations.
• Partner with product owners and architects to translate requirements into delivery plans.
• Monitor scope, schedule, quality, risks, issues and delivery metrics; communicate progress.
• Promote secure development, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and operational readiness.
• Support event-driven data processing using Apache Kafka, Hadoop, Spark or Flink.
