EY is seeking a Manager in the Service Delivery Center to balance hands-on software engineering with project leadership. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support while remaining close to code and technical decisions.

You will coordinate delivery across geographically distributed teams, mentor engineers, manage dependencies, and communicate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into achievable delivery plans.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of technology software development experience, including leading project teams or major delivery workstreams.
• Hands-on coding with Java and Spring Boot, including microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with at least one modern UI framework, preferably Angular or React, and guiding full-stack decisions.
• Experience deploying and supporting enterprise apps on a major cloud platform.
• Proficiency with source control, build automation, CI/CD, container deployments, testing, and code-quality gates.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery practices and coordinating distributed teams across locations.

Aufgaben

• Lead end-to-end delivery of software engineering work across planning, design, development, testing, release, and production support.
• Remain hands-on with coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical feasibility investigations.
• Guide solution design using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and UI frameworks.
• Plan and manage Agile delivery including backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and release readiness.
• Coordinate work across geographically distributed teams and ensure clear ownership and handoffs.
• Mentor engineers through coaching, reviews, and career development conversations.
• Partner with product owners, architects, QA, DevOps, security, and client stakeholders to translate requirements into delivery plans.
• Monitor scope, schedule, quality, risks, issues, and delivery metrics; propose actions to resolve impediments.
• Promote secure development, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and operational readiness across the lifecycle.
• Support event-driven and data-processing solutions using Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, Flink or equivalent.
