EY seeks an experienced Manager in the Service Delivery Center to balance hands-on software engineering with project leadership. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support while remaining close to code and technical decisions.

You will mentor engineers, manage dependencies, coordinate across time zones, and translate business requirements into achievable delivery plans for enterprise applications on cloud platforms.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of technology software development experience including leading project teams.
• Hands-on coding with Java and Spring Boot, microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Angular or React and guiding full-stack decisions.
• Experience building, deploying, and supporting enterprise apps on a major cloud platform.
• Proficient in CI/CD, container deployments, testing, and code-quality gates.
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience and distributed team coordination.
• Mentorship and coaching to improve engineering practices.

Mansioni

• Lead end-to-end software delivery across planning, design, development, testing, release, and support.
• Remain hands-on with coding, reviews, troubleshooting, and POCs.
• Design solutions using Java, Spring Boot, REST, microservices, and cloud-native patterns.
• Plan Agile delivery: backlog, sprint planning, estimations, demos, retrospectives.
• Coordinate work across geographically distributed teams and time zones.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical coaching and feedback.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, DevOps, security, and clients to translate requirements.
• Monitor scope, schedule, quality, risks, and delivery metrics; elevate impediments.
• Promote secure development, automated testing, observability, and responsive operations.
• Support data-processing or event-driven solutions when required.
