Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Digital Accessibility Specialist Senior Associate within the Corporate & Investment Bank in New York. You will work with developers and designers to remove barriers in Salt design system across web and mobile apps, applying accessibility standards and best practices.

You will test with assistive technologies, participate in GitHub workflows, and help ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1, ADA, and 508 standards while promoting inclusive design across product teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in digital accessibility.
• Experience testing with assistive technologies (screen readers, magnifiers, etc.).
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Willingness to learn and grow in accessibility.
• Ability to work across tactical and strategic initiatives.
• Autonomy and teamwork in in-person and virtual settings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with GitHub workflows.

Responsibilities

• Conduct digital accessibility testing of Salt components, mobile apps, websites, and content.
• Identify accessibility barriers based on WCAG 2.1 and ADA/508/EAA; suggest solutions.
• Document accessibility issues with clear, actionable remediation steps.
• Collaborate in GitHub-based projects, code reviews, and issue tracking.
• Find compliant, creative solutions within design system patterns and frameworks.
• Participate in planning and stand-up meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Provide guidance on accessibility techniques and advocate inclusive design.
• Promote accessibility and coach colleagues in groups or forums.
• Identify and drive improvements using data on accessibility issues.
