Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President, Accessibility Tester on the Shopping team to drive accessibility excellence across digital experiences. You will assess risks, translate findings into remediation guidance, and influence partners while maturing testing practices, tooling, and governance.

You will lead testing strategies, collaborate with product, design and engineering, and ensure issues are prioritized and resolved with measurable improvements in accessibility outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in digital accessibility, accessibility testing, QA, or related field.
• Deep knowledge of WCAG, ADA, Section 508, PDF/UA, assistive technologies, and common barriers.
• Ability to operate independently as a senior IC and influence cross-functional partners.
• Experience maturing testing practices, documentation, standards, and routines.
• Identify accessibility issues from designs and live experiences, review front-end code (HTML, ARIA, JS, React), and provide remediation guidance.
• Hands-on testing with assistive technologies (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack) and related tools.
• Strong knowledge of WAI-ARIA, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Jira for defect management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across product, design, engineering, legal, compliance, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior accessibility testing SME across public credit card shopping experiences.
• Independently own complex accessibility testing from assessment through remediation follow‑through.
• Develop and execute accessibility test strategies, test plans, test cases, and defect management practices.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to clarify requirements and prioritize issues.
• Provide clear documentation, recommendations, and escalation to improve governance and decision‑making.
• Lead defect triage, root‑cause analysis, remediation tracking, and risk communication across stakeholders.
• Evaluate testing tools, automation opportunities, and process improvements to increase effectiveness.
• Stay current on accessibility standards and regulatory expectations to strengthen practices.
