Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair is a plus.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to use tools; strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs to keep vehicles safe and on the road.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools and technologies, including basic diagnostics.
• Carry out preventive maintenance such as tire rotation, lubrication, some electrical work and cooling system care.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and hands-on coaching with your supervisor.
• Contribute to other projects and tasks as assigned.
