Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a qualified Technician at our Dallas location to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet. You will document repairs, use Penske tools, and help keep vehicles on the road with a strong safety focus.

We provide industry-certified training, opportunities for growth, and a supportive team environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license, with 1–2 years of repair experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• The ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to work well as part of a team and outdoors.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools and technologies, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance like tire rotation and lubrication on gas/diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Complete other projects as assigned by supervisor.
