Job summary

Penske is hiring a Technician in Prescott Valley, AZ. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and safety-focused inspections on a diverse fleet. The role offers hands-on training, advancement potential, and a supportive team environment.

You’ll work with modern tools, learn Penske’s maintenance processes, and contribute to keeping vehicles safe and on the road. A strong mechanical aptitude and a valid license are required for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to comply with Penske safety policies and DOT/OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and safeguard vehicles to ensure customer safety.
• Use Penske’s tools and diagnostics to complete repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance, tire rotation, lubrication, and basic electrical and cooling system tasks.
• Collaborate with management to learn new skills through Penske training programs.
• Handle additional tasks assigned by supervision.
