Nextran Truck Centers in Duluth, GA is hiring a Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain medium- and heavy-duty trucks in our Engine Shop. You’ll mentor apprentices, lead projects, and help grow your career in a shop that values quality craftsmanship.

We seek 3–5+ years of diesel diagnostic experience, Cummins certification, and strong mechanical skills. CDL is a plus. Join a network of experienced technicians with extensive growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of diesel diagnostic experience (10+ years preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license (CDL a plus).
• Cummins Engine Repair Certification required.
• Master Technician certifications preferred.
• ASE Certifications are a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and dealership management/diagnostic software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty diesel engines.
• Perform complete engine and transmission rebuilds.
• Complete preventive maintenance and major repairs.
• Document repairs and diagnostic findings.
• Coordinate with Parts and Service to keep repairs on schedule.
• Mentor apprentices and lead projects when needed.
