Qualifications

• Mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
• Routine preventative maintenance including oil changes, brakes and tires
• Basic diagnostics and repairs including AC and electrical systems
• 3+ years of relevant work experience (preferred)
• CDL- A (preferred) and location-specific certifications as required

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard maintenance and preventive maintenance
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools
• Complete detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
• Replace defective components as instructed and work with customers/drivers to determine the nature of the issue
• Maintain compliance with safety, DOT, MOT and other guidelines
• Mentor Tech 1 and Tech 2 levels and support fleet maintenance
