Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in New Stanton, PA. The role offers an hourly pay of $28.19 with a quarterly bonus up to $500 and a sign-on bonus of $1,250 at 30 days and another $1,250 at 90 days. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, first shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification, preferred.
• Basic tools, required.
• Demonstrated aptitude in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to understand the nature of the issue.
