Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems (AC/electrical).
• Must have basic tools and be able to drive Ryder vehicles.
• CDL class A preferred or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose complex mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Document work and communicate findings to drivers and supervisors.
• Train and mentor Tech 1/Tech 2 levels and support shop operations.
