Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/Technical certification or post-secondary degree preferred.
• Basic set of tools required for the job.
• Experience repairing heavy- and medium-duty equipment.
• Preventive maintenance and basic diagnostics skills.
• AC and electrical system diagnostics and repairs.
• CDL Class A preferred; other location certifications may apply.
• Must meet additional location-specific certifications and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair on heavy-duty equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
• Diagnose complex mechanical/electrical problems using diagnostic tools.
• Complete inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Replace defective components as instructed.
• Assist customers/drivers to determine issue and service needs.
• Utilize Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Comply with safety, DOT, and company policies.
