Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification or Postsecondary degree preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred; relevant certifications required by location.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties on heavy-duty diesel engines and systems.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Replaces defective components with minimal supervision and documents work performed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine the nature of the issue and coordinates repairs.
• Adheres to safety, DOT, and internal process guidelines and mentors junior technicians.
