Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical certifications preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience with heavy-/medium-duty equipment and diagnostics.
• Must meet location-specific certification requirements including CDL where applicable.
• Knowledge of PC/Windows and diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard and preventive vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Replaces defective components and completes detailed inspections with minimal supervision.
• Mentors Tech 1/2 levels and supports shop operations.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine the nature of the issue.
